Welcome to The Charm Box, and thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about the person behind the brand.
I'm Laura, the founder, owner, designer, photographer, website builder, social media manager, customer service department, packer of orders, and quite often the person answering your messages late in the evening after a busy day.
The Charm Box began with a simple passion: a love of beautiful jewellery and the belief that quality, stylish pieces shouldn't have to come with a luxury price tag. I've always been drawn to creativity, whether that's designing jewellery, building websites, creating content, or finding new ways to bring ideas to life. Creating something from nothing has always been incredibly rewarding for me, and The Charm Box has become the perfect place to combine those passions.
Alongside running the business, I have been a busy mum of two for over twenty years. Like many people, life hasn't always followed the path I expected. Both my husband and I live with chronic illnesses, and I have also faced my own mental health challenges over the years. There have been times when life has felt overwhelming, but those experiences have also taught me resilience, determination, and the importance of building a future on our own terms.
My husband is self-employed too, and together we've invested countless hours, energy, and resources into creating businesses that provide us with purpose, independence, and hopefully long-term financial security. The Charm Box isn't backed by a large company or a team of employees. It's a genuine family-run business built through hard work, persistence, and a lot of late nights.
Every order means far more to me than simply making a sale. Behind every purchase is a real person who has chosen to support a small independent business, and I never take that for granted. Whether you're purchasing a gift for someone special or treating yourself, I want every customer to feel valued and appreciated.
At The Charm Box you'll find a carefully curated collection of sterling silver jewellery, handmade designs, gemstone bracelets, meaningful gifts, and timeless pieces chosen to bring a little sparkle to everyday life. Many of my handmade designs are created right here by me, and I am always exploring new ideas, styles, and customisations to offer something a little different.
